Terms and Conditions
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the services provided by TaxRodo, you (“Client”, “You”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and any service agreements entered into between you and TaxRodo. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Services Offered
TaxRodo provides professional bookkeeping outsourcing services including but not limited to:
General ledger maintenance
Bank and account reconciliations
Payroll assistance
GST/HST filings
Invoicing & AP/AR support
Financial reporting
Software-specific bookkeeping (Tally, QuickBooks, etc.)
All services are customized and provided remotely under agreed service packages.
3. Client Responsibilities
Provide accurate, complete, and timely financial data
Ensure legal compliance with CRA filing deadlines
Maintain necessary licenses, tax numbers, and regulatory registrations
Notify TaxRodo of any discrepancies or required corrections within 7 days of report submission
4. Confidentiality & Data Protection
TaxRodo adheres to Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
All client data, financial records, and business information will be kept strictly confidential.
Data is stored securely using encrypted cloud-based systems.
TaxRodo will not sell, share, or transfer your data without explicit written consent, except where legally required.
5. Compliance Disclaimer
While we make all efforts to maintain CRA compliance, clients are solely responsible for:
Submitting final tax filings to CRA or provincial bodies
Final sign-off on financial statements
Complying with industry-specific accounting or reporting standards
6. Service Terms & Billing
Services are offered on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis based on selected plan.
Payment terms are Net 15 from the date of invoice unless otherwise agreed.
Late payments may result in service suspension and incur interest at 1.5% per month.
7. Limitation of Liability
TaxRodo shall not be liable for:
Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Regulatory penalties or audit issues arising from inaccurate data provided by the client
Any delay caused by unforeseen technical or system failures
Our total liability for any service claim shall not exceed the amount paid by the client in the 2 months preceding the claim.
8. Termination of Services
Either party may terminate the agreement with 30 days’ written notice.
Upon termination, all data will be returned or securely destroyed as requested.
Any unpaid invoices will become immediately due.
9. Intellectual Property
All materials, reports, formats, and software configurations developed by TaxRodo during the service period remain its intellectual property unless otherwise agreed.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ludhiana, Punjab (India).
11. Amendments
TaxRodo reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Clients will be notified by email or via our website. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of changes.
